Auction result misses estimated price range
In May 2000 a collector was able to acquire the work Ritratto di donna by Ernesto Treccani for ITL 1,175,000.00 (€ 1,007.72). This price was achieved in the auction Arte del XX secolo at Christies in Milan and was even below the estimate range of ITL 1,200,000.00 – 1,800,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Ernesto Treccani have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Siepe D’Estate in May 2021 with an auction result of EUR 4,375.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Mai 2000 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Ritratto di donna von Ernesto Treccani für ITL 1.175.000,00 (€ 1.007,72) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Arte del XX secolo bei Christies in Mailand erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von ITL 1.200.000,00 – 1.800.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Ernesto Treccani auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Siepe D’Estate im Mai 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 4.375,00.
