A top price for Ernesto Estévez García - as previously expected
The work La Roca by Ernesto Estévez García was sold in the Latin American Art auction at Sothebys in New York in November 2009. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 30,000.00 – 35,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 31,250.00 (€ 20,841.67) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Even if this result could not surprise positively, La Roca is the most expensive artwork by Ernesto Estévez García that we have observed at auctions so far.
