Auction result misses estimated price range
In April 2007 a collector was able to acquire the work Italian In The Caravan by Ernesto Bazzaro for USD 6,000.00 (€ 4,392.39). This price was achieved in the auction 19th Century European Art at Sothebys in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00 set by the auction house. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Ernesto Bazzaro - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Il Legionario, which sold at auction in December 2008 for EUR 10,000.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im April 2007 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Italian In The Caravan von Ernesto Bazzaro für USD 6.000,00 (€ 4.392,39) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion 19th Century European Art bei Sothebys in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 8.000,00 – 12.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Ernesto Bazzaro mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Il Legionario beobachtet, die im Dezember 2008 für EUR 10.000,00 versteigert wurde.
