The »bidding war« ended at EUR 1,913.00 28% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Eric Poitevin have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Sans Titre (Cerf Allongé)' in November 2016 with an auction result of EUR 13,750.00.

Die Arbeit Sans Titre, 2002 – Untitled, 2002 von Eric Poitevin wurde im Oktober 2009 in der Auktion Florence and Daniel Guerlain Photographies Collection bei Artcurial in Paris versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 1.913,00 und damit 28% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Eric Poitevin auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Sans Titre (Cerf Allongé)' im November 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 13.750,00.
