In October 2014 Christies in London held the auction Old Master and British Paintings, which included the work The Presentation in the Temple by Ercole Procaccini. The price achieved of GBP 10,000.00 (€ 12,768.56) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Other works by Ercole Procaccini have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in June 2002 the work Tête de jeune fille regardant vers la gauche, portant une boucle d'oreille was auctioned for EUR 23,500.00.
