Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work Ragazzo seduto in lettura by Ercole Drei was auctioned at Christies in Rome in November 2005, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of EUR 150.00 – 200.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for EUR 124.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ercole Drei achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Abbandono in April 2021 with an auction result of EUR 9,500.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit Ragazzo seduto in lettura von Ercole Drei im November 2005 bei Christies in Rom versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 150,00 – 200,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für EUR 124,00 den Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ercole Drei erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Abbandono im April 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 9.500,00.
