Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In October 2013 Christies in London held the auction Modern British and Irish Art, which included the work Fighting Horses by Enzo Plazzotta. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 3,500.00 (€ 4,136.97), 17% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Enzo Plazzotta have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Downfall in March 2018 with an auction result of GBP 18,750.00 (€ 21,347.91).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Oktober 2013 führte Christies in London die Auktion Modern British and Irish Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Fighting Horses von Enzo Plazzotta zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 3.500,00 (€ 4.136,97) und damit 17% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Enzo Plazzotta auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Downfall im März 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 18.750,00 (€ 21.347,91).
