Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Enzo Plazzotta could be acquired at Christies in New York in February 2016 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Living With Art auction, the work Despair (David Wall) changed hands for USD 1,250.00 (€ 1,150.17) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Enzo Plazzotta achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Downfall in March 2018 with an auction result of GBP 18,750.00 (€ 21,347.91).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Enzo Plazzotta konnte im Februar 2016 bei Christies in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Living With Art wechselte die Arbeit Despair (David Wall) für USD 1.250,00 (€ 1.150,17) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 2.000,00 – 3.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Enzo Plazzotta erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Downfall im März 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 18.750,00 (€ 21.347,91).
