Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Emvin Cremona achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bonhams in March this year. In the British and European Art auction, the work Landscape With Figures, 1974 sold for GBP 13,387.50 (€ 15,230.87) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 6,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Emvin Cremona; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Untitled abstract sold at auction in November 2021 with the realized price of GBP 19,000.00 (€ 22,307.79).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Emvin Cremona erzielte im März diesen Jahres bei Bonhams einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion British and European Art wurde die Arbeit Landscape With Figures, 1974 für GBP 13.387,50 (€ 15.230,87) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 6.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Emvin Cremona; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Untitled abstract im November 2021 mit dem Hammerpreis von GBP 19.000,00 (€ 22.307,79).
