Auction result fails to reach estimate
In November this year a collector was able to acquire the work Still life with mimosa and tulips in a jar by Emmy Thornam for DKK 1,900.00 (€ 254.83). This price was achieved in the auction Paintings, furniture and varia at Bruun Rasmussen and was even lower than the DKK 3,000.00 estimate set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Emmy Thornam have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Still life with flowers in January 2024 with an auction result of DKK 2,000.00 (€ 1,747.95).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt den Schätzpreis
Im November diesen Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Still life with mimosa and tulips in a jar von Emmy Thornam für DKK 1.900,00 (€ 254,83) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Paintings, furniture and varia bei Bruun Rasmussen erzielt und lag noch unterhalb des vom Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreises von DKK 3.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Emmy Thornam auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Still life with flowers im Januar 2024 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von DKK 2.000,00 (€ 1.747,95).
