Auction result misses estimated price range
In March this year a collector was able to acquire the work Still life with anemonies and beech branches in a basket by Emmy Thornam for DKK 2,900.00 (€ 389.17). This price was achieved in the auction Paintings, furniture and varia at Bruun Rasmussen and was even below the estimate range of DKK 4,000.00 – 6,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Emmy Thornam have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Still life with flowers in January 2024 with an auction result of DKK 2,000.00 (€ 1,747.95).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im März diesen Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Still life with anemonies and beech branches in a basket von Emmy Thornam für DKK 2.900,00 (€ 389,17) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Paintings, furniture and varia bei Bruun Rasmussen erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von DKK 4.000,00 – 6.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Emmy Thornam auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Still life with flowers im Januar 2024 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von DKK 2.000,00 (€ 1.747,95).
