Auction result fails to reach estimate
This work of art by Emmy Thornam could be acquired at Bruun Rasmussen in September this year for an unexpectedly low price. In the Paintings, furniture and varia auction, the work Chrysanthemum changed hands for DKK 1,600.00 (€ 214.51) - just shy of the DKK 3,000.00 estimate. Admittedly, works by Emmy Thornam have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Still life with flowers in January 2024 with an auction result of DKK 2,000.00 (€ 1,747.95).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt den Schätzpreis
Dieses Kunstwerk von Emmy Thornam konnte im September diesen Jahres bei Bruun Rasmussen für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Paintings, furniture and varia wechselte die Arbeit Chrysanthemum für DKK 1.600,00 (€ 214,51) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit den Schätzpreis von DKK 3.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Emmy Thornam auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Still life with flowers im Januar 2024 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von DKK 2.000,00 (€ 1.747,95).
