In May 2007 Sothebys in London held the auction The Greek Sale, which included the work A Moments Rest by Emmanuel Zairis. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 36,000.00 (€ 52,976.44), 20% above the upper estimate. With this result, A Moments Rest is even the most expensive work of art by Emmanuel Zairis that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis für Emmanuel Zairis
Im Mai 2007 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion The Greek Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit A Moments Rest von Emmanuel Zairis zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 36.000,00 (€ 52.976,44) und damit 20% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Mit diesem Ergebnis ist A Moments Rest sogar das teuerste Kunstwerk von Emmanuel Zairis, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
