Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Musicienne au repos by Emmanuel Villanis was auctioned at Artcurial in December this year. It achieved a price of MAD 9,840.00 (€ 900.21), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 23%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Emmanuel Villanis - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Slave Girl, which sold at auction in November 2005 for EUR 3,120.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Musicienne au repos von Emmanuel Villanis kam im Dezember diesen Jahres bei Artcurial zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von MAD 9.840,00 (€ 900,21) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 23%. Für andere Arbeiten von Emmanuel Villanis mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Slave Girl beobachtet, die im November 2005 für EUR 3.120,00 versteigert wurde.
