Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In June 2005 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction Pictures Watercolours and Drawings, which included the work Goldilocks: A Norwegian Country Girl by Emma Pastor Normann. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 1,500.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 1,560.00. Admittedly, works by Emma Pastor Normann have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A beauty on the banks of a Norwegian fjord in September 2007 with an auction result of GBP 5,250.00 (€ 7,528.11).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Juni 2005 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion Pictures Watercolours and Drawings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Goldilocks: A Norwegian Country Girl von Emma Pastor Normann zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 1.500,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 1.560,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Emma Pastor Normann auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit A beauty on the banks of a Norwegian fjord im September 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 5.250,00 (€ 7.528,11).
