Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Emma Ekwall could be acquired at Bukowski in Stockholm in August 2010 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Eclectic, Stockholm S193 auction, the work Still life with flowers changed hands for SEK 8,500.00 (€ 907.94) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of SEK 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Emma Ekwall - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Afternoon tea, which sold at auction in December 2018 for SEK 36,000.00 (€ 3,541.55).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Emma Ekwall konnte im August 2010 bei Bukowski in Stockholm für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Eclectic, Stockholm S193 wechselte die Arbeit Still life with flowers für SEK 8.500,00 (€ 907,94) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von SEK 10.000,00 – 15.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Emma Ekwall mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Afternoon tea beobachtet, die im Dezember 2018 für SEK 36.000,00 (€ 3.541,55) versteigert wurde.
