Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Conversational studies by Emilio Gola was sold in the Nineteenth Century European Art auction at Christies in London in November 2001. The price achieved of GBP 1,410.00 (€ 2,243.75) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,200.00 – 1,800.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Emilio Gola achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Paesaggio lungo il Naviglio Grande in April 2014 with an auction result of EUR 40,000.00.

Die Arbeit Conversational studies von Emilio Gola wurde im November 2001 in der Auktion Nineteenth Century European Art bei Christies in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 1.410,00 (€ 2.243,75) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 1.200,00 – 1.800,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Emilio Gola erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Paesaggio lungo il Naviglio Grande im April 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 40.000,00.
