Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2011 Bukowski in Stockholm held the auction The Spring Classic Sale, Stockholm, which included the work Young woman with daisies by Émile Vernon. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of SEK 40,000.00 – 50,000.00, the actual price achieved of SEK 42,000.00 (€ 4,586.66) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Émile Vernon achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Best of Friends in October 2002 with an auction result of USD 89,625.00 (€ 90,704.38).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni 2011 führte Bukowski in Stockholm die Auktion The Spring Classic Sale, Stockholm durch, in der auch die Arbeit Young woman with daisies von Émile Vernon zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von SEK 40.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von SEK 42.000,00 (€ 4.586,66) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Émile Vernon erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Best of Friends im Oktober 2002 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 89.625,00 (€ 90.704,38).
