A top price for Émile-Jacques Ruhlmann - as previously expected
The work 'Spirales' Daybed by Émile-Jacques Ruhlmann was auctioned at Sothebys in London in May 2012. The price achieved of GBP 361,250.00 (€ 450,101.61) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 300,000.00 – 500,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, 'Spirales' Daybed is the most expensive artwork by Émile-Jacques Ruhlmann that we have observed at auctions so far.

Die Arbeit 'Spirales' Daybed von Émile-Jacques Ruhlmann kam im Mai 2012 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 361.250,00 (€ 450.101,61) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 300.000,00 – 500.000,00 angegeben worden.
