A top price for Émile-Jacques Ruhlmann - as previously expected
The work Bureau `Boudoir Du Collectionneur' by Émile-Jacques Ruhlmann was sold in the The Gunter Sachs Collection Evening Auction auction at Sothebys in London in May 2012. The price achieved of GBP 361,250.00 (€ 450,101.61) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 300,000.00 – 400,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Bureau `Boudoir Du Collectionneur' is the most expensive artwork by Émile-Jacques Ruhlmann that we have observed at auctions so far.
