Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In April 2020 Sothebys in New York held the auction European Paintings, Drawings & Sculpture, which included the work Andante by Emile Brisset. Here, the upper estimate of USD 7,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 7,500.00 (€ 6,846.19). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Emile Brisset - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work French The Day After The Battle Of Frœschwiller, August 1870 , which sold at auction in February 2019 for USD 25,000.00 (€ 21,970.30).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im April 2020 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion European Paintings, Drawings & Sculpture durch, in der auch die Arbeit Andante von Emile Brisset zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 7.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 7.500,00 (€ 6.846,19) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Emile Brisset mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit French The Day After The Battle Of Frœschwiller, August 1870 beobachtet, die im Februar 2019 für USD 25.000,00 (€ 21.970,30) versteigert wurde.
