Auction result well in line with expectations

The price achieved of USD 62,500.00 (€ 46,458.04) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 50,000.00 – 70,000.00. Admittedly, works by Émile Auguste Hublin have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work French a Young Girl Holding A Basket Of Eggs in May 2013 with an auction result of USD 317,000.00 (€ 244,071.45).
