Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2006 Christies in London held the auction 19th Century European Art, which included the work Refreshment for a friend by Emil Brack. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 5,000.00 – 7,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 5,400.00 (€ 8,019.17) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Emil Brack have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in April 2004 the work The Picture Book was auctioned for EUR 15,535.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2006 führte Christies in London die Auktion 19th Century European Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Refreshment for a friend von Emil Brack zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 5.000,00 – 7.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 5.400,00 (€ 8.019,17) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Andere Arbeiten von Emil Brack konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im April 2004 die Arbeit The Picture Book für EUR 15.535,00 versteigert.
