Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Emanuel Larsen could be acquired at Bruun Rasmussen in February this year for an unexpectedly low price. In the Paintings and furniture (postponed) auction, the work “Fra Holland”, 1852 changed hands for DKK 3,200.00 (€ 429.81) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of DKK 4,000.00 – 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Emanuel Larsen achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work “Amerikansk fregat i Marseilles havn” in September this year with an auction result of DKK 75,000.00 (€ 10,055.27).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Emanuel Larsen konnte im Februar diesen Jahres bei Bruun Rasmussen für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Paintings and furniture (postponed) wechselte die Arbeit “Fra Holland”, 1852 für DKK 3.200,00 (€ 429,81) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von DKK 4.000,00 – 5.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Emanuel Larsen erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit “Amerikansk fregat i Marseilles havn” im September diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von DKK 75.000,00 (€ 10.055,27).
