Auction result well in line with expectations
In December 2021 Sothebys in London held the auction Post-War and Contemporary Russian Art from a Private Collection, which included the work Composition by Ely Belyutin. The price achieved of GBP 3,528.00 (€ 4,208.16) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ely Belyutin achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Revolution in December 2021 with an auction result of GBP 157,500.00 (€ 187,864.46).
