The work "Flicka vid rödvinsbuske" (Young girl with red currants) by Elsa Beskow was sold in the Classic Sale auction at Bukowski in Stockholm in June 2014. The »bidding war« ended at SEK 34,000.00 (€ 3,712.93), 36% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Elsa Beskow achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work "HATT-STUGAN. Bilderbok av Elsa Beskow" in December 2017 with an auction result of SEK 500,000.00 (€ 50,865.08).

Die Arbeit "Flicka vid rödvinsbuske" (Young girl with red currants) von Elsa Beskow wurde im Juni 2014 in der Auktion Classic Sale bei Bukowski in Stockholm versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von SEK 34.000,00 (€ 3.712,93) und damit 36% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Elsa Beskow erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit "HATT-STUGAN. Bilderbok av Elsa Beskow" im Dezember 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 500.000,00 (€ 50.865,08).
