Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Chrysanthemums, birds nest and taxidermy display by Ellen Ladell was sold in the British and European Art auction at Bonhams in London in November this year. The price achieved of GBP 1,408.00 (€ 1,631.57) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,200.00 – 1,800.00. Admittedly, works by Ellen Ladell have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Still Life With A Basket Of Cherries, A Pear, Plums And White-Currants On A Marble Ledge in December 2006 with an auction result of GBP 7,200.00 (€ 10,685.70).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Chrysanthemums, birds nest and taxidermy display von Ellen Ladell wurde im November diesen Jahres in der Auktion British and European Art bei Bonhams in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 1.408,00 (€ 1.631,57) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 1.200,00 – 1.800,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Ellen Ladell auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Still Life With A Basket Of Cherries, A Pear, Plums And White-Currants On A Marble Ledge im Dezember 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 7.200,00 (€ 10.685,70).
