Auction result well in line with expectations
The work The Wonsan Scholar and his disciples by Elizabeth Keith was sold in the Anton Philips, Entrepreneur & Connoisseur auction at Christies in Amsterdam in November 2007. It changed hands for a price of EUR 750.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 600.00 – 800.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Elizabeth Keith achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Hong Kong in July 2020 with an auction result of USD 18,750.00 (€ 15,924.92).
