Despite a disappointment, a good price for Elizabeth Jordan
This work of art by Elizabeth Jordan could be acquired at Sothebys in London in June 2013 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Russian Paintings auction, the work Esquisse, Alexandrinsky Theatre, St Petersburg, 2013 changed hands for GBP 1,875.00 (€ 2,188.46) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Despite this disappointing result, Esquisse, Alexandrinsky Theatre, St Petersburg, 2013 is the most expensive artwork by Elizabeth Jordan that we have observed at auction so far.
