Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Bathers by Elise Rise was auctioned at Christies in New York in August 2018. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 200.00 – 400.00, the actual price achieved of USD 250.00 (€ 215.59) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Elise Rise - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Beach Landscape, which sold at auction in August 2018 for USD 625.00 (€ 538.98).

Die Arbeit Bathers von Elise Rise kam im August 2018 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 200,00 – 400,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 250,00 (€ 215,59) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Für andere Arbeiten von Elise Rise mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Beach Landscape beobachtet, die im August 2018 für USD 625,00 (€ 538,98) versteigert wurde.
