Upper estimated price slightly exceeded

Here, the upper estimate of EUR 1,400.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 1,410.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Elise Claudine Arntzenius - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work A summer bouquet, which sold at auction in September 2010 for EUR 4,625.00.

Die Arbeit A summer bouquet with lillies, rhodondendrons and hydrangea in a glass vase von Elise Claudine Arntzenius wurde im Januar 2002 in der Auktion PICTURES WATERCOLOURS AND DRAWINGS bei Christies in Amsterdam versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 1.400,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 1.410,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Elise Claudine Arntzenius mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit A summer bouquet beobachtet, die im September 2010 für EUR 4.625,00 versteigert wurde.
