Auction result well in line with expectations
The work A flower still life with a dead finch by Elisabeth Johanna Koning was auctioned at Christies in Amsterdam in March 2000. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of NLG 5,000.00 – 7,000.00, the actual price achieved of NLG 5,265.90 (€ 2,240.24) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Elisabeth Johanna Koning have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Blumenstillleben. 1849. in March 2019 with an auction result of CHF 17,300.00 (€ 15,466.46).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit A flower still life with a dead finch von Elisabeth Johanna Koning kam im März 2000 bei Christies in Amsterdam zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von NLG 5.000,00 – 7.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von NLG 5.265,90 (€ 2.240,24) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Elisabeth Johanna Koning auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Blumenstillleben. 1849. im März 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von CHF 17.300,00 (€ 15.466,46).
