Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2008 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction 19th CenturyEuropean Art, which included the work Daily life in Scheveningen by Elias Pieter van Bommel. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 10,000.00 – 15,000.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 11,250.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Elias Pieter van Bommel have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Dutch a Busy Harbour With Merchants Unloading Their Goods in December 2010 with an auction result of EUR 63,150.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2008 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion 19th CenturyEuropean Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Daily life in Scheveningen von Elias Pieter van Bommel zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 11.250,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Elias Pieter van Bommel auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Dutch a Busy Harbour With Merchants Unloading Their Goods im Dezember 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 63.150,00.
