This artwork by Elias Martin achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bukowski in Stockholm in December 2011. In the Autumn Classic Sale auction, the work Landscape with figures by the lake sold for SEK 21,000.00 (€ 2,353.66) - well above the upper estimate of SEK 12,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Elias Martin achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Vue de la Seine et du Louvre, prise depuis le Vert Galant, sous le Pont Neuf in April 2012 with an auction result of EUR 27,400.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 75 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Elias Martin erzielte im Dezember 2011 bei Bukowski in Stockholm einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Autumn Classic Sale wurde die Arbeit Landscape with figures by the lake für SEK 21.000,00 (€ 2.353,66) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von SEK 12.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Elias Martin erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Vue de la Seine et du Louvre, prise depuis le Vert Galant, sous le Pont Neuf im April 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 27.400,00.
