Auction result misses estimated price range
In March 2006 a collector was able to acquire the work 'Bull Elk' by Eli Harvey for USD 6,000.00 (€ 4,942.75). This price was achieved in the auction Fine American Paintings, Drawings and Sculpture at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00 set by the auction house. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Eli Harvey - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Study for 'Bruno' the Brown University Bear (Standing Bear), which sold at auction in February 2019 for USD 13,750.00 (€ 12,083.66).

Im März 2006 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit 'Bull Elk' von Eli Harvey für USD 6.000,00 (€ 4.942,75) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Fine American Paintings, Drawings and Sculpture bei Christies in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 8.000,00 – 12.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Eli Harvey mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Study for 'Bruno' the Brown University Bear (Standing Bear) beobachtet, die im Februar 2019 für USD 13.750,00 (€ 12.083,66) versteigert wurde.
