Auction result misses estimated price range
In July 2003 a collector was able to acquire the work Tiger bei Nacht - Tiger at night by Eike Heinrich Redel for EUR 382.40. This price was achieved in the auction PICTURES, WATERCOLOURS AND DRAWINGS at Christies in Amsterdam and was even below the estimate range of EUR 600.00 – 800.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Eike Heinrich Redel achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Tiger in Lotusteich - Tiger in Lotus pond in February 2004 with an auction result of EUR 3,824.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juli 2003 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Tiger bei Nacht - Tiger at night von Eike Heinrich Redel für EUR 382,40 erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion PICTURES, WATERCOLOURS AND DRAWINGS bei Christies in Amsterdam erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 600,00 – 800,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Eike Heinrich Redel erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Tiger in Lotusteich - Tiger in Lotus pond im Februar 2004 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 3.824,00.
