The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 30,000.00 – 50,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 35,000.00 (€ 39,478.94) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Egon Adler have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in December 2006 the work Abstraktes Stilleben. was auctioned for CHF 74,400.00 (€ 46,228.69).
