Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Czech still Life With Apples by Egon Adler was auctioned at Sothebys in London in November 2018. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 30,000.00 – 50,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 35,000.00 (€ 39,478.94) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Egon Adler have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in December 2006 the work Abstraktes Stilleben. was auctioned for CHF 74,400.00 (€ 46,228.69).

Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 30.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 35.000,00 (€ 39.478,94) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen.
