Auction result well in line with expectations
In December 2012 Bukowski in Stockholm held the auction Autumn Classic Sale, Stockholm, which included the work Man on a divan by Egisto Sarri. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of SEK 25,000.00 – 30,000.00, the actual price achieved of SEK 26,000.00 (€ 3,028.67) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Egisto Sarri achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work First steps; Playtime in January 2008 with an auction result of GBP 36,500.00 (€ 48,929.82).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember 2012 führte Bukowski in Stockholm die Auktion Autumn Classic Sale, Stockholm durch, in der auch die Arbeit Man on a divan von Egisto Sarri zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von SEK 25.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von SEK 26.000,00 (€ 3.028,67) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Egisto Sarri erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit First steps; Playtime im Januar 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 36.500,00 (€ 48.929,82).
