Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work A Wooded Landscape With A Farmhouse Near Eext by Egbert van Drielst was auctioned at Christies in Amsterdam in November 2005, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of EUR 1,000.00 – 1,500.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for EUR 960.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Egbert van Drielst achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Extensive Pastoral Landscape With Peasants Resting On A Wooded Road, Bathers In A River Behind, And Distant Hills in July 2011 with an auction result of GBP 16,250.00 (€ 18,649.31).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit A Wooded Landscape With A Farmhouse Near Eext von Egbert van Drielst im November 2005 bei Christies in Amsterdam versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 1.000,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für EUR 960,00 den Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Egbert van Drielst erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Extensive Pastoral Landscape With Peasants Resting On A Wooded Road, Bathers In A River Behind, And Distant Hills im Juli 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 16.250,00 (€ 18.649,31).
