This artwork by Edouard-Léon-Louis Legrand achieved an unexpectedly high price at Artcurial in Marrakech in December 2019. In the Majorelle and his Contemporaries auction, the work Femme en bleu sold for MAD 1,365,000.00 (€ 130,092.63) - well above the upper estimate of MAD 770,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Edouard-Léon-Louis Legrand - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work La Tikka, L'Heure Du Thé, which sold at auction in June 2011 for EUR 378,494.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 77 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Edouard-Léon-Louis Legrand erzielte im Dezember 2019 bei Artcurial in Marrakesch einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Majorelle and his Contemporaries wurde die Arbeit Femme en bleu für MAD 1.365.000,00 (€ 130.092,63) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von MAD 770.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Edouard-Léon-Louis Legrand mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit La Tikka, L'Heure Du Thé beobachtet, die im Juni 2011 für EUR 378.494,00 versteigert wurde.
