Upper estimated price slightly exceeded

However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Edwin Willard Deming - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work George Washington at the Future Location of Fort Duquesne, which sold at auction in September 2006 for USD 13,200.00 (€ 10,404.35).
