The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 1,000.00 – 1,500.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 1,100.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Funeral Cortége. is the most expensive artwork by Edwin Lydén that we have observed at auctions so far.
