A top price for Edwin Arthur Norbury - as previously expected
In July 2007 Christies in London held the auction British and Continental Watercolours and Original Book Illustrations, which included the work Buckingham Gate, St. James's Park - a wet day by Edwin Arthur Norbury. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 500.00 – 800.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 504.00 (€ 748.56) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Buckingham Gate, St. James's Park - a wet day is the most expensive artwork by Edwin Arthur Norbury that we have observed at auctions so far.

Im Juli 2007 führte Christies in London die Auktion British and Continental Watercolours and Original Book Illustrations durch, in der auch die Arbeit Buckingham Gate, St. James's Park - a wet day von Edwin Arthur Norbury zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 500,00 – 800,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 504,00 (€ 748,56) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen.
