Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Taming Britain’S Unions by Edward Sorel was auctioned at Sothebys in London in March 2018. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 1,200.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 1,250.00 (€ 1,423.19). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Edward Sorel - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work ‘The Four Horsemen Of The Wall St. Apocalypse’, which sold at auction in March 2018 for GBP 2,750.00 (€ 3,131.03).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Taming Britain’S Unions von Edward Sorel kam im März 2018 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 1.200,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 1.250,00 (€ 1.423,19) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Edward Sorel mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit ‘The Four Horsemen Of The Wall St. Apocalypse’ beobachtet, die im März 2018 für GBP 2.750,00 (€ 3.131,03) versteigert wurde.
