Auction result well in line with expectations
The work A Norfolk backwater by Edward Seago was auctioned at Bonhams in New York in September this year. The price achieved of GBP 6,400.00 (€ 6,400.00) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Edward Seago achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Household Cavalry in the Mall in July 2018 with an auction result of GBP 175,000.00 (€ 196,213.48).

Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 6.400,00 (€ 6.400,00) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 5.000,00 – 7.000,00 angegeben worden.
