Auction result well in line with expectations
The work The Doge's Palace, the Piazzetta and the Biblioteca, with Sta Maria della Salute beyond, Venice by Edward Pritchett was auctioned at Christies in London in July 2016. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 20,000.00 – 30,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 22,500.00 (€ 26,734.87) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Edward Pritchett have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Church Of The Salute, Venice in July 2007 with an auction result of GBP 98,400.00 (€ 146,146.71).

Die Arbeit The Doge's Palace, the Piazzetta and the Biblioteca, with Sta Maria della Salute beyond, Venice von Edward Pritchett kam im Juli 2016 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 20.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 22.500,00 (€ 26.734,87) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen.
