It achieved a price of GBP 6,930.00 (€ 8,263.78), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 16%. Other works by Edward Penny have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of GBP 9,000.00 (€ 13,107.56) in March 2005 for the work Portrait of An Officer, Small Full-Length, On A Battlement, Resting His Arm On A Canon.
