Upper estimated price slightly exceeded

Here, the upper estimate of GBP 300.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 329.00 (€ 530.87). Admittedly, works by Edward Patry have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Portrait of A Lady, Three-Quarter-Length, In A White Dress And Ermin Trimmed Cloak in May 2006 with an auction result of GBP 3,360.00 (€ 4,904.51).

Die Arbeit Portrait of a gentleman, half-length, in a grey three-piece-suit, holding a cigarette in his right hand von Edward Patry wurde im März 2001 in der Auktion BRITISH AND CONTINENTAL PAINTINGS bei Christies in London versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 300,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 329,00 (€ 530,87) einen neuen Besitzer.
