A top price for Edward Lutterell - as previously expected
The work Two Portraits of Gentlemen, Bust-Length, One In Scholastic Robes by Edward Lutterell was auctioned at Christies in London in November 2005. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 1,080.00 (€ 1,586.66) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Two Portraits of Gentlemen, Bust-Length, One In Scholastic Robes is the most expensive artwork by Edward Lutterell that we have observed at auctions so far.
