Auction result well in line with expectations

It changed hands for a price of GBP 1,410.00 (€ 2,304.59) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Edward Hughes achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work British an English Artist Collecting Costumes In Brittany in February 2018 with an auction result of USD 50,000.00 (€ 40,946.69).
